Getting to Bermuda

Bermuda is a British Territory so if you are coming from the US, you will need a passport!

(Double check your expiration date! Renewals can take a few weeks and we don’t want you to miss out if yours is outdated!)

To get to Bermuda you’ll fly into Fort Wade International Airport (BDA). There are a handful of airlines that you can book through but options may be limited since it is considered off season. It may not come up on google flights for awhile but there is a new airline, BermudAir, that offers direct flights from Westchester, Boston and Fort Lauderdale.

Pro Tip: you have to complete a visitor form upon entry into Bermuda. In our experience, the airlines don’t tell you that you have to complete it when you check in so most people don’t know about it. When you deplane, there is a back log of people scrambling to fill out the forms in person or trying to connect to the wifi to do it online. To beat the line, the link to the form is below. We suggest doing it before you leave (in case you don’t have an international plan) and either screenshotting it or printing it out for Border Control.

Getting around Bermuda

The easiest (and safest) way to travel around the island is by taxi. The front desk at each hotel will help arrange them for you.

Some of the taxis take credit cards but we suggest having cash just in case. The exchange rate is 1:1 so USD is accepted. You may just receive BMD as change
